On May 29, 2023, Gemadept organized for students and new employees of the Company to visit Gemalink Deep-sea Port. This is a good opportunity for the students and new employees of Gemadept to experience the actual activities of the Port and enrich their professional knowledge in the field of port operation.

With the commitment to carry out "Corporate Social Responsibility" (CSR), Gemadept has been implementing a scholarship program for hundreds of students at universities in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Da Nang. The program not only informs students of the economic conditions to complete their training course, but also fosters practical knowledge through exchange activities and field visits, witnessing production and business activities firsthand at units of Gemadept Group.

In that spirit, the Human Resources Department of Gemadept organized a visit to Gemalink Deep-sea Port for Gemadept scholarship students and new employees of the Company, helping them increase their knowledge of activities related to the operation of large tonnage container vessels going in and out of the Port, and at the same time learned about seaport management processes and related work.

Even more special, right in this field trip, the students had the opportunity to welcome the APL MERLION vessel with a tonnage of 180,000 DWT to the Port to operate. Also through this visit, these young people could interact and exchange directly with the staffs currently working at Gemalink Deep-sea Port.

Thereby, the students were updated with more information about Gemadept Corporation as well as Gemalink Deep-sea Port while also experiencing and visiting the facilities of the most modern and green port in Vietnam.
