In terms of waterways, the port is located at the junction of Saigon - Dong Nai river (the largest river in the Southeast), which links to Cai Mep international seaport cluster in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. This helps to transit cargo between major industrial zones in Ho Chi Minh and Cai Mep Thi Vai Ports; contributes to reduce traffic congestion, save huge amount of time and logistics costs for import/export customers.

“Success is formed by strong internal forces”.  Binh Duong Port, along with Phuoc Long Port (PIP), plays a vital role in Gemadept’s port system development strategy. It strongly supports Gemalink deep-sea port and ensures cargo transportation effectively and quickly for Southern economic zone in Vietnam.
